Plasma Pen skin tag & lesion removal

This highly innovative treatment eliminates skin blemishes and removes abnormal/ unwanted skin lesions using the Plasma Pen device.

Using this device, Plasma Energy Arc is created. This energy works throughout the skin from the epidermis deep into the dermis.

The Plasma Pen causes a process called sublimation which turns a solid into a gas. This process leads to instant results; with moles, skin tags and warts being removed in minutes!

What is Plasma used for?

The Plasma is used to remove moles, skin tags, and warts which are either inconvenient due to clothing rubbing and catching on them, or considered unsightly by the client.

Please note: moles must have been checked by a G.P prior to removal.

About the Treatment

The first step is always a consultation. I’ll check the area, chat through your medical history and make sure Plasma treatment is suitable for you.

On the day of treatment, the skin is cleansed and a local anaesthetic cream is applied so you’re as comfortable as possible. Once the area is numb, I carefully treat the lesion with the Plasma Pen – this usually only takes a few minutes.

Most people describe the feeling as a little warm or tingly rather than painful. There are no stitches and you can usually go straight back to normal daily activities afterwards.

After treatment you’ll see tiny brown “dot” scabs on the area. These will dry and flake off naturally over about 5–10 days as the skin heals underneath.

For the first 48 hours you should:
• Keep the treated area dry and avoid creams or perfumes
• Avoid excessive exercise and anything that causes heavy sweating
• Protect the skin with a high SPF once the surface has healed
• Avoid extremes of heat such as saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds
